Hello,
I've got a few days fishing on the Holroyd River, from Southwell Station in North QLD in mid July. I was hoping someone could give me some pointers (barramundi or mangrove jack I assume) to give me decent chance of catching some fish.

I just need some basics. I've got a few old barra lures, but I will probably need to stock up before the trip on traces, swivels etc. Should I be looking at bait as well? Perhaps there is a web-site you can recommend (if not this one) where I can get this advice.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Plus you'll have the added benefit of knowing you've help prevent the starvation of a group of blokes on a bucks weekend.

Thanks in advance.

[...] What’s the best way to be able to tell the size of your fish? It’s a tape measure, right. Measuring how large your catch is probably the most effective way to know how large your fish actually is. I know for me , if you say “I caught a 14 inch Rainbow”, […] Full post here: Fishing Hot Spots [...]
