Fishing is something I have always enjoyed, and over the years I have picked up many trout fishing hints and safety tips. These have all been learned through my own experience, along with what others have shared with me, and they have saved me many a heartbreak. May I now share them with you so that your fishing pleasure will know no bounds, and you will excel with the fishers dream of utopia.
A - Hooks catch fish. They can also catch your own body or your eyes - even someone else around you. This can happen to a long time, well experienced fisher. Mistakes can happen to anyone, and carelessness can be dangerous so please be careful.
B - A wide and long cap or hat can save you much discomfort from glaring sun on the water, as well as a good pair of sun glasses.
C - Fish evidently have both very good hearing and eyesight. They probably see you long before you see them, and no doubt hear you as well. Some recommend pulling your boots or shoes off, but please don't be that foolish. Glass, sharp rocks, snags, rusted cans, as well as snakes and other things along with common sense forbid this.

There are many different types of fish which individuals fish for exclusively these days. One variety of fish which is highly sought after by fishermen everywhere is the trout. There are many different subspecies of trout which come in a variety of colors, lengths and weights. This freshwater fish is touted as one of the favorites among game fish found in lakes, rivers and streams.
Most of the different subspecies of trout are found in cold water lakes, streams and rivers. They tend to migrate from place to place and swim in the various areas of the water. They are found throughout the United States as well as parts of Asia and Europe. As for the menu items which trout desire, they mainly feed on aquatic flies such as mayflies and dragonflies. Zooplankton and small fish are also a delicacy for certain types of trout, depending on where they are located.

While it may not seem like there is anything special about saltwater fishing, it is a very different application and sport from freshwater fishing. Many times, you are targeting larger species of fish, you are far from land for long periods of time, and you are in a completely different type of environment.
Rather than looking at lakes with depths of 40 or 50 feet, you could very well be fishing seas and oceans with floors hundreds of feet deep.
Saltwater fishing requires a lot of foreknowledge and preparation before you head out into the open waters.
The first thing you need to keep in mind is that saltwater fishing is usually a full day out in the hot summer sun on the water. This means that it is vital to be prepared with skin protection, visors, boat canopies, and lots of sunblock are key to withstanding the heat and the UV rays. You'll also need to ward off dehydration, meaning that your cooler should be filled with water and electrolyte-enhanced drinks rather than beer. You should have light clothing that keeps you from overheating as well.

You will mainly find trout in rivers rather than lakes but that is not to say you will not find them in lakes at all, its just that given a choice they would prefer the flowing water of a river. The main types of trout found are brown, cutthroat, brook and my favourite the rainbow.
Catching a small trout is not that hard to do its catching the big ones where the challenge comes in.
Some people prefer fly fishing as a way of catching these fish, others say using a float is best but in the end its what is best for you. Spinners are also known to work for some so just see what works for you. Some of the flies that are on the market do not seem to resemble any fly or insect at all. This is because to a fish it is not the imitation of a fly that matters it is more just a case of food recognition.

Here's a really simple way... to catch stream trout using your spinning rod.
If you have ever wanted to fish for trout in a stream but are frustrated by the thought of equipping, learning, and mastering fly casting, here is an alternative. You can be on a stream, fishing and catching trout with a minimum of expense and frustration.
All trout respond to salmon eggs used for bait.
This method of fishing salmon eggs is simple, deadly, and does not kill the trout. Almost all the trout hooked will be caught in the mouth, just like fishing with the fly.
The few components can be purchased at any fishing supply stop, even at a fly fishing shop.
Your shopping list of items to start is very short. The heart of the method is to use a very small float as a strike indicator to float the salmon eggs naturally in the current of the stream.
The small Styrofoam floats used as strike indicators for fly fishing nymphs are ideal. Purchase a few floats that are 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch in diameter. The purpose of the float is to indicate when a trout takes the salmon egg.
Beneath the float about 12 inches attach a very sharp hook.
The first choice in hooks are the extremely sharp Gamatszu hook in size eight. If these are not available, Owner Hooks are just as good.

As a matter of fact, some anglers have one or two rods, and that's it. If they're going trout fishing they use the same rod as they do if they are trying to catch carp. This is a mistake. You need to have different fishing rods for different fishing situations. The biggest reason for this is that it will help you catch more fish. If the wrong fishing rod is being used, bites will be much more difficult to detect, and therefore less fish will be caught.
